Torre d'en Galmés es el poblado más grande de Menorca con una extensión de 66.240 m2. Su situación, en lo alto de una colina, lo hace extremadamente adecuado para mantener el control territorial de buena parte de la costa sur de la isla. Cronológicamente, perduró desde el periodo naviforme (1700-1400 a.C.), del cual se conserva un hipogeo.
